Australia Says No To Identity Theft Fraud

The new president of Australia has been making some changes in Australia. Jillian Gillard, has announced recently the new introduction of a legislation that will help protect individuals and their families for identity theft. Identity crime has been a growing issue in Australia, where many victims of this suffer from years of torment and stress from accused fraud and theft offenses. It can be a difficult ordeal for individuals to go through. The government has now recognized this as a serious issue in the Australian community, where the new legislation is hoped to reduce identity theft fraud to a low minimum.

This legislation known as the Law and Justice Legislation (Identity Crimes and Other Measures) Bill 2010 , was previously introduced to the Parliament last term but only now has been considered to be passed.
